Title: 2nd Line IT Support EngineerSalary: up to £39,000 + BenefitsLocation: onsite in Loughton with some travel to client site (travel costs will be covered)Contract: PermanentWorking hours: Monday to Friday - 9:30am - 6pmA family run Managed Service Provider which has significant growth plans is looking to bolster its 2nd Line support team. The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will be working in a fast paced and pressurised environment and be given the opportunity to deal with BAU tickets, projects and get certifications and training courses funded.2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Responsibilities:Resolve tickets including but not limited to; Office 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, hardware, cyber security, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routers, switches, access pointsSupport their clients across an array of industriesEscalate issues as and when requiredProject involvement could entail - server/cloud migrations, office fit outs, building routers & switches, unified controllersWhen required travel to different client sites (once or twice per month)Utilise your troubleshooting skills to resolve issues you may not have come across beforeOpportunities to grow and progress into cloud, security, networking and moreComplete an Azure or Office 365 certification within your first 3 months (the business will pay for it)2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Essential Requirements:Driving license & a vehicle Networking protocol knowledge - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, the difference between a router and a switch and how to access a routerIntune - on/offboarding devicesSharePoint or OneDrive - file accessOffice 365 - mailboxes, permissions, user administration & tracing emailsStrong troubleshooting mindsetExcellent communication skills and willing to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Desirable Skills:Azure and/or Office 365 certificationsWorked in an MSPFor the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer position we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual who is looking for an exciting challenge in a welcoming company.
