Renowned Museum

A well-established Museum with over 1,000 employees who continually strives to enhance its digital presence to engage a global audience. A significant aspect of this endeavour involved a comprehensive website rebranding project, critical to maintaining the Museum's relevance and accessibility in the digital age.

The Requirement

The website rebranding project encountered significant challenges due to a lack of in-house UX and software engineering expertise. The project was behind schedule, and immediate recruitment was essential to keep it aligned with other digital platforms.

How We Helped

We collaborated closely with the Programme Manager and Product Manager to fully understand the specific role requirements and the long-term goals of the project. To meet these needs, we deployed specialised teams with expertise in Delivery Management, UX, and Software Development, using our extensive network of candidates. Each candidate was rigorously assessed based on their rebranding experience, technical skills, and ability to integrate smoothly with the existing team. Additionally, we built and sustained a pipeline of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and networking within the industry.

Results

Our strategic approach led to the successful placement of 13 contractors within a 2-week period. The institution received 20 CVs, significantly reducing time spent on interviews. All candidates were immediately available and began work within 2 days of receiving offers. This accelerated the rebranding project, allowing the team to finish 3 weeks ahead of schedule while establishing a clear Agile Methodology for future project delivery.

The contractors not only helped avoid the costs associated with a delayed rebranding but also demonstrated their value, with over 50% continuing to work on new programs for the institution. Our speed and quality of delivery resulted in a 3-year exclusivity agreement for all roles across various departments. Since then, we have maintained a 100% placement record, reducing recruitment times from 2 months to 2 weeks, which has enabled timely project kickstarts through our specialised network of contractors.
